How soon does Dog Gone kick in?

Effects can kick in as soon as 10-15 minutes after consuming. We recommend seeing how you feel after an hour before consuming a second can.

How will Dog Gone make me feel?

The Delta-9 THC in Dog Gone typically produces a psychoactive intoxicating effect or “high”.

Dog Gone is alcohol-free, but might give you a similar feeling to a glass of wine or beer – A light, sociable buzz. Unlike alcohol, Dog Gone won’t leave you with a hangover the next day.

Feelings and effects will vary from person to person, depending on many factors but especially your cannabis tolerance. The onset may be delayed and could last for several hours. Some people may experience side effects.

How many Dog Gones should I drink?

Dosed with 5mg of THC in each can, Dog Gone hits the sweet spot of not too much and not too little. It’s on the high end of a microdose and meant to be approachable for newbies and experienced users alike.

The great thing about drinking a Dog Gone Seltzer is that you can easily control your buzz by starting small – drink part of a can and wait to see how you feel before consuming more.

There is no “recommended potency” for THC beverages. A lot of factors can influence how each person experiences the effects, the biggest one being cannabis tolerance and experience.

With a typical onset of 10-15 minutes (and the potential to last over two hours), we recommend sipping one Dog Gone to start – See how you feel after an hour before consuming a second can.
New to THC? We recommend starting low and slow. Start small and share a Dog Gone with a friend. Wait 20 minutes, and see how you feel before drinking more.

Will consuming Dog Gone cause me to fail a drug test?

It is possible you will fail a THC drug test after consuming the Delta-9 THC found in Dog Gone.

Can I mix Dog Gone with alcoholic beverages?

Dog Gone is not intended to be mixed with alcohol or other intoxicants of any kind. Alcohol increases the absorption of THC and the enhanced effects are much more difficult to anticipate and monitor.

The Great Dane does not endorse “crossfading”. We will decline serving THC beverages in our pubs to anyone we know to have been drinking, and vice versa.

Can I take Dog Gone home with me?

Yes! We sell Dog Gone in single cans or 4-packs so you can take them with you to enjoy responsibly anywhere.

Is Dog Gone legal?

Yes! Delta-9 THC is legal, both federally and in the state of Wisconsin. You must be 21+ to purchase or consume Dog Gone.

The Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (also known as the  “2018 Farm Bill”) and corresponding state legislation in Wisconsin legalized hemp products that contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight. These laws allow the production, sale, and possession of such products under the stipulated THC threshold, ensuring compliance with both the 2018 Farm Bill and Wisconsin Act 68. Dog Gone Seltzers meet these requirements.

Despite its federally legal status, hemp-derived Delta-9 products may be illegal or not explicitly legal according to certain state laws. Know your state laws before purchasing or consuming.

How do I know it’s safe?

We take ingredient quality and safety very seriously. The Delta-9 THC used in Dog Gone is sourced from a reliable company that uses best practices and third party testing to ensure the quality and consistency of their emulsions.

Each batch of Dog Gone is also lab tested by an independent Wisconsin-based lab – you can view the results of each batch here.
