The Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. is committed to supporting groups and organizations that help enrich the childhood experience in our communities. Children represent our future, and we believe in creating a bright horizon of opportunities that are accessible to all.
Generosity has been one of our core guiding principles from the beginning. Having grown up in a family that embraced philanthropy, Founder and President Eliot Butler learned from a young age that the more one gives, the more one receives. From disabled veterans re-integrating into society to distant relatives who had lost a parent, his home was always open to those in need. The Butler family gave in any way they could, and this spirit of generosity has underpinned our business since the very beginning.
When we founded the Great Dane in 1994, we opened our doors with the intention of actively paying it forward to our community. We want our neighborhoods to thrive for generations to come, and giving back to local children is one of the best investments we can make to help our vision of a better future become a reality. In addition to financial contributions to local charitable organizations, the Great Dane Team believes in giving our time to those in need. Through our annual Adopt-a-Family program, our staff steps up year after year to provide gifts and household supplies to over 200 local families in order to brighten their holiday season.
Since 1994, we have contributed over $1,000,000 to a variety of community-based organizations that help children grow, explore and flourish. In addition to our core partnerships with child-centric charities, we also give to a variety of other causes that help make our neighborhoods a great place to live, work and play.
We are eager to hear which not-for-profit partners are most important to YOU, and we will work to align our financial contributions to reflect your input. We greatly value the opinions of our guests – what’s important to you is important to us.
